In the heart of Prohibition, pals Stan and Ollie find themselves on the wrong side of the law when an attempt to peddle their homemade brew to an unsuspecting cop lands them in prison. Inside the gritty prison walls, Stan's loose tooth takes on a life of its own, buzzing when he speaks. Misunderstood as a defiant raspberry, it lands them in hot water, yet curiously earns the admiration of The Tiger, a hardened inmate. In a daring and chaotic escape orchestrated by The Tiger, the duo manages to slip away. They ingeniously use blackface as a disguise and seek refuge in a cotton plantation. However, fate spins another twist when the warden, drawn by the familiar buzzing of Stan's tooth, identifies the fugitives, landing them back behind the bars of the big house. Their return is marked by a fierce crossfire, as they find themselves caught in the crosshairs of the state militia and gun-toting prisoners during The Tiger's audacious second escape attempt. In a surprising turn of events, the senior warden, mistaking their accidental firing as a deliberate warning of the impending chaos, grants them a pardon. Thus, our hapless heroes find themselves thrust back into freedom, their misadventures sealed in a tale of unexpected bravery and absurdity.
