Plot

In the captivating world of photojournalism, Mosley, a celebrated Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, finds himself at odds with his boss (Bobcat Goldthwait) who demands a steady flow of sensational imagery. After being ousted from his job, Mosley stumbles upon an antiquated camera, a relic of a bygone era, at a local yard sale. The camera, much to his surprise, houses a roll of undeveloped film that proves to be nothing short of extraordinary. Upon developing the film, he unearths undeniable evidence of an alien abduction. Frustrated by the dismissive response from the Air Force, newspaper editors, and a UFO enthusiast, Mosley turns to a tabloid as his last resort. However, his revelation is met with mockery, as his story is published in a manner that ridicules his credibility. Determined to seek justice, Mosley confronts the tabloid president, leading to an altercation that lands him in jail. It is here that he crosses paths with another UFO enthusiast (Billy Bob Thornton). His salvation arrives in the form of the enchanting Paige, a young woman whose father, the very man in the alien abduction photos, vanished without a trace... Out There stands as a thrilling exploration of one man's quest for truth, a journey that entwines him in a web of extraterrestrial encounters, conspiracy, and unexpected companionship.
