Plot
Sphere is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. It is a science fiction thriller that becomes a psychological drama at the end because of the incredible things a group of scientists finds at the bottom of the ocean. There is a huge space ship that has been there for hundreds of years that appears to have been constructed by the U.S. in the future and sent back through time. What they discover affects each scientist differently and they have to deal with each other’s fears as well as the spaceship. No one is sure what is real and what is imaginary.
