One Day (2017)

Consumed by a profound melancholy following the death of his cherished wife, insurance evaluator Gang-Soo (Kim Nam-Gil) finds himself adrift in a sea of sorrow. As he reluctantly resumes his professional duties, a peculiar case of an unconscious woman, Mi-So (Chun Woo-Hee), pulls him back into the world of the living. In the sterile realm of a hospital, an enigmatic woman introduces herself as Mi-So, an encounter that sends ripples through his reality. Remarkably, Gang-Soo is the solitary being capable of perceiving this ethereal manifestation of Mi-So. Engulfed in the aftermath of a catastrophic car crash, Mi-So's physical form lies dormant in a coma, her spirit, however, roams untethered. Mi-So's spectral existence isn't aimless, though, as she entrusts Gang-Soo with a mission only he can accomplish. Undeniably intriguing, 'One Day' (2017) explores the liminal space between life and death, reality and illusion, and love and loss.
