In the tumultuous landscape of modern India, the Shakespearean tragedy of "Othello" takes on a fresh form in "Omkara". The story pivots around Omkara Shukla, a formidable criminal and political enforcer who has won the heart of Dolly, a woman betrothed to another by her father, Advocate Raghunath Mishra. When Dolly's intended groom and his party are ambushed, she is supposedly kidnapped.
