In the shadowy confines of a rented room, a painting takes a mysterious tumble from the wall. Nils, the occupant of the room and a studious doctorate student in medicine, finds his curiosity piqued by the small hole left behind. Peering into the hidden world of his neighbor's room, he discovers a spectacle that swiftly sends his medical textbooks into oblivion.
