In the heart of Lisbon, Portugal, under the cloak of night, we meet Sergio, a young, handsome trash collector with a solitary existence. His life is shared only with the trash company's pet dog, and the nightlife he uncovers on his nocturnal rounds. Fatima, a pretty co-worker, harbors an unrequited passion for him, yet Sergio remains detached, unable to reciprocate her feelings, as he grapples mysteriously with his own sexuality. His life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a sleek motorcycle gliding through the city's darkened streets. The bike, as captivating as a phantom in the night, soon leads Sergio to its indifferent owner, João. Ensnared by this newfound obsession, Sergio's latent desires come to the fore, pushing him into uncharted territories of the human psyche. As the line between fascination and obsession blurs, Sergio's repressed urges spiral him into an abyss of violence, depravity, and degradation. His once mundane life as a garbage collector morphs into a provocative exploration of human desire and its darkest corners.
