Plot

In the sprawling cityscape of Los Angeles, the veil between the ordinary and the extraordinary is unexpectedly torn apart when Charles Pommier, a French anthropologist expert in African and Inuit nomadic cultures, is brutally hospitalized. His body is a canvas of cryptic injuries that hint at an untold terror. With his dying breath, Pommier entrusts his dark secret to Dr. Eileen Flax, a young physician unprepared for the supernatural revelation about to unfold. Pommier's scholarly pursuits had led him to an ancient and sinister truth buried within old Inuit legends; demonic spirits, deceptively playful, yet capable of possession and even murder, walk among humans. He had been obsessively tracking a gang of unnerving street punks, not knowing they were the very embodiment of these ancient legends until it was too late. Now, as Pommier's life ebbs away, Eileen finds herself caught in a terrifying flashback, reliving the anthropologist's final day. Through this eerie prism, she unravels the horrifying reality that these demonic entities are not just a figment of ancient tales, but a present-day menace. More alarmingly, she realizes that Pommier's wife is their next target, her life hanging in a perilous balance. As the line between science and the supernatural blurs, Eileen must race against time to save an innocent life from a terror as old as time itself.
