Louis Bloom is a con man barely getting by from hustle to hustle, but he manages to find a job that actually seems to suit him when he realizes he can make money recording accident footage for the news. His lack of ethics and street smarts make him a ruthless but effective contractor, and he soon finds himself expanding the business. But Louis' eagerness to capture the most gory and shocking footage will inevitably end in him crossing a line. As he begins to interfere with crime scenes directly, he risks destroying his reputation in the industry for good.
