Plot

In the quiet, unsuspecting town of Hinzmaville, Gerald Tovar Jr. finds himself the reluctant heir to the family business, the Tovar & Son Mortuary, following his father's demise. With his assistant DyeAnne falling short of his expectations, Gerald welcomes the intervention of his Aunt Lou who brings on board the efficient Cristie Forrest as her replacement. However, the mortuary conceals a macabre secret. Beneath the veneer of solemnity and death, a terrifying phenomenon unfolds; the corpses, brought by the U.S. Army, begin to stir back to life, the crematory becoming a grotesque tableau of reanimated bodies and dismembered parts. This grim spectacle is revealed to Gerald's skeptical brother, Harold, who dismisses it as madness and promptly departs. The mortuary's chilling secret takes a more sinister turn when the government's toxic waste, which has been quietly deposited there for years in exchange for a lucrative cash incentive, begins to seep into the bodies. It's not long before the dead are not merely stirring but walking, their former human shells morphing into grotesque, flesh-hungry zombies. When the unsuspecting Aunt Lou falls victim to a zombie bite, the mortuary descends into a nightmarish arena of horror. As the outbreak begins to spiral out of control, Gerald, Cristie, and the rest of the mortuary staff must confront the monstrous consequences of their deadly secret. Night of the Living Dead: Re-Animation is a spine-chilling tale of greed, secrets, and the undead, where the line between life and death blurs into horrifying reality.
