Night of the Demons (1988)

In the chilling atmosphere of Halloween, a daring group of ten teenagers decide to forego traditional celebrations and instead, embark on a thrilling adventure. Their destination? Hull House, an eerily abandoned funeral home tainted by dark rumors and an even darker past. Standing aloof on an unholy strip of land deemed unfit for human habitation, the house silently harbors a ghastly history of the murdered Hull family. As the echoes of their laughter fill the desolate corridors, the thrill-seeking teens decide to ignite the party with a séance. Gathered around a seemingly innocuous, large mirror, they unknowingly open the door to a terrifying realm. They rouse an ancient demon from its slumber, a malevolent force that dwells in the forgotten shadows of the basement. Their youthful merriment is swiftly replaced by sheer terror as the demon possesses one of the girls, marking the beginning of a horrifying nightmare. The once lively party turns into a deadly game of survival as one by one, the teens succumb to the demonic influence, their bodies and minds taken over by the evil that lurks within the Hull House. As the night of horrors unfolds, they must battle not just the demons that have possessed their friends, but also race against time to cross an underground stream, their only hope of salvation. 'Night of the Demons' is a twisted dance of survival and terror, where crossing the stream is not just a symbolic crossing into adulthood but a desperate attempt to escape the clutches of a demonic hell.
