Plot

In the pulsating heart of Los Angeles, Gene Watson, an unassuming public accountant, steps off a train at Union Station. He's a man of ordinary features, returning from his ex-wife's funeral, and accompanied by his cherished 6-year-old daughter, Lynn. This day, however, will prove to be anything but ordinary as he finds himself entangled in a lethal game orchestrated by two menacing characters, Smith and Jones. Under the guise of being police officers, Smith and Jones cunningly abduct Lynn, thrusting Gene into a terrifying predicament. He is handed a gun, a name tag, and six bullets, along with the photograph and itinerary of Eleanor Grant, the esteemed Governor of California. The ultimatum is as ruthless as it is simple: Gene must assassinate the governor, who is scheduled to give a speech at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, within a nail-biting 90 minutes, or his precious Lynn will meet a tragic end. The clock begins to tick with horrifying speed as Gene is propelled into a deadly race against time. With Smith vigilantly monitoring his movements to deter any attempts to alert the authorities, and Jones holding Lynn captive in a nondescript van, Gene is left to navigate this seemingly impossible situation. As we follow his desperate journey through the ticking minutes, the tension escalates. The unassuming accountant must summon unimaginable courage to outwit his tormentors, save his daughter, and avert a political assassination. The fate of two lives rests in the hands of a man who, until now, led an ordinary life. Will he succeed in this deadly game of survival? The answer lies in the Nick of Time.
