In the serene Oregon Rockies, the Paradise Mountain Lodge, a charming ski resort, is the stage for a whirlwind romance between its affluent owner, Jay Morgan, and the lodge's humble gardener, Kristin Ward. After a mere two months, their love story swiftly turns into an elopement. Kristin, a working-class girl, is introduced to a life of opulence, but is also plunged into the heart of a brewing storm.
