Lake Placid 2 (2007)

A mere two years have passed since the chilling encounter with the colossal saltwater crocodile in the labyrinthine depths of Lake Placid (1999). Now, an unsettling terror once again stirs beneath the placid waters of Maine's secluded Black Lake. The sudden, grizzly demise of an Environmental Protection Agency worker, coupled with an alarming string of vanishings, sparks a relentless investigation. Sheriff James Riley and the seasoned Fish and Wildlife Agent, Emily, find themselves thrust into a race against time as the pressure of the looming tourist season bears down on them. The ferocious pursuit for the scaled, prehistoric menace lurking within Lake Placid's murky waters is underway. Will they be able to halt the bloodthirsty leviathan before it claims more unsuspecting prey?
