Plot

In "New Guy" (2003), a quirkily dark comedy, we dive into the surreal first day at work of our protagonist, Gregg, whose name intriguingly boasts two G's. As soon as he steps foot into his new office, a whirlwind of bizarre circumstances and a distinct brand of office humor leave him questioning the nature of his fresh employment. Throughout his day, Gregg navigates a labyrinth of strange rumors, puzzling situations, and frustrating interactions with his eccentric co-workers. These peculiar occurrences seem to continually conspire against him, amplifying his longing for the familiarity of home. But, as luck, or rather misfortune, would have it, Gregg finds himself accidentally imprisoned within the confounding walls of his workplace for the night. As the sun sets, the office transforms into a playground of the extraordinary, where the truly uncanny events unfurl. Does the office hold secrets that only reveal themselves under the cloak of darkness? Or is it Gregg's mind playing tricks on him? "New Guy" is a captivating exploration of the unexpected twists and turns that a seemingly mundane office environment can hide, leading viewers on a journey that blurs the line between reality and absurdity.
