Plot

In the heartland of the New Hope Valley, a tempest brews as the state government sets its sights on constructing a flood-control dam. The land of the hardy ranchers and local farmers, including the indomitable trio known as The Three Mesquiteers, is condemned. Despite the government's promises of fair compensation, a stormy future lies ahead as a treacherous real-estate promoter weaves a web of deceit. Leading the charge against this looming adversity are Stony Brooke, portrayed by the charismatic John Wayne, Tucson Smith, played by stalwart Ray Corrigan, and Rusty Joslin, brought to life by the seasoned Raymond Hatton. Their battle is not just against the law, but also the lurking crooks who threaten their very existence. The ranchers, fierce and resilient, disrupt the dam's construction, prompting Proctor, the sly promoter, to propose relocation to a barren desert valley. His honeyed words paint a picture of an oasis, irrigated by a new pipeline once the dam is completed. The Mesquiteers, ever vigilant, decide to investigate the situation. When the dam stands completed, a shocking truth unravels. The promise of the pipeline proves to be a mirage, a tarnished dream in the desert. The battle lines are redrawn, and the stakes are higher as our valiant trio gear up to fight for their land, their rights, and their future. "New Frontier" weaves a tale of valor, deception, and camaraderie, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown where truth and justice are the real heroes.
