Plot

In the humble heart of a poverty-stricken Indian village, Deva (Mithun), a resolute villager, dreams of one simple thing - clean water for his kin. His only ally is his wealthy friend, Ajay (Atul Agnihotri), an author who hails from a different world, yet shares a bond with Deva that transcends their contrasting lives. But beneath Ajay's affluence lurks a sinister scheme woven by his uncle Jagdambar (Bharat Kapoor), who plans to displace the villagers to sell their land to a multinational corporation. When the village priest, Pandit (Rana Jung Bahadur), under Jagdambar’s orders, poisons the village's water supply, a wave of death washes over the village, lighting the fuse of Deva’s wrath. In a fit of rage, he slaughters the priest, Jagdambar, and a corrupt minister linked with the scheme. Forced to flee India, Deva’s life takes an unexpected turn when he lands in Malaysia, where he saves the life of Taoke (Gulshan Grover), a notorious figure. Deva’s heroic act catapults him into a life of crime, earning him both reverence and enemies, including Taoke himself, whose twisted vision of justice clashes with Deva’s moral code. Amidst this chaos, Deva finds allies in Sonia (Pooja Bhatt) and Zakir (Mushtaq Khan), and together, they navigate the dangerous underbelly of Malaysia, with Police Commissioner Pritam Singh (Avtaar Gill) relentlessly pursuing them. Meanwhile, Ajay, having fallen for the enchanting Sonali, is entangled in the aftermath of Deva's actions, finding himself arrested for aiding his childhood friend. As the lines blur between friendship and enmity, Deva and Ajay are set on a collision course, their paths destined to cross once again. Will Deva achieve his dream of bringing clean water to his village? Can Ajay save his friend from his self-destructive path? And will Deva and Sonia survive the onslaught from both the law and the underworld? As bullets rain down and loyalties are tested, the answers lie just beyond the hailstorm.
