In the heart of Oregon's Silver Falls State Park, a chilling series of ritualistic murders shakes the serene wilderness. The victims are all deer hunters, slain not by the common tools of their trade, but by an eerily precise and deadly hand. The mastermind behind these killings is none other than Aaron Hallam, a former Delta Force soldier turned rogue after the haunting specter of genocide witnessed during the Kosovo War twisted him into a tormented, delusional killing machine. In a twisted play on his victims' roles, Hallam deems them unworthy hunters due to their high-tech weaponry, preferring instead the primal simplicity of his own knife. As this grim tableau unfolds, survival expert and retired military instructor L.T. Bonham is summoned by the FBI to track down the elusive killer.
