At the dawn of the twentieth century, the city of Paris is teetering on the edge of chaos, its cobblestone paths echoing with the mysteries of the Rue Morgue theater. Cesar Charron, the theater's charismatic owner, meticulously orchestrates a chilling play titled "Murders in the Rue Morgue," starring his enchanting wife, Madeleine, a woman tormented by her own nightmares. However, life begins to imitate art in the most gruesome manner as the theater becomes the backdrop for a series of inexplicable murders.
