Plot
Ensconced in the heart of the forest, in a mansion as opulent as it is secluded, lives Claire, a young girl adopted into wealth. Her tranquil existence is disrupted when she stumbles upon an injured boy of her age, bleeding in the family’s garden shed. This boy, a courier from Afghanistan, bears the scars of his past life as a human vessel for drug trafficking, discarded and shot after serving his brutal purpose.
Compelled by a sense of compassion and intrigue, Claire elects to keep the boy’s existence a secret, nursing him back to health in the hidden corners of her lavish home. As they navigate the haunting echoes of their pasts, an unexpected bond blossoms between them, growing into a deep and unspoken love.
However, the specter of danger looms as the ruthless drug dealers return, coinciding with her family's impending shift back to the urban jungle. Faced with these mounting threats, they make the desperate choice to run. Yet, Claire soon realizes escaping her past, a past marred by abandonment, is a daunting task, almost as relentless as the pursuit of their pursuers.
