As a prelude to manned space travel, the U.S. government entrusts Dr. Quent Brady and Dan Morgan with a daring experiment: launch various creatures into orbit to gauge their survival in the harsh environment. However, a twist of fate sends a rocket brimming with wasps derailing from its path. Lost from the radar screens, the rocket is predicted to crash somewhere off the coast of Africa. In the heart of Africa, in an area ominously known as Green Hell, fear begins to grip the people and animals as tales of a monstrous terror start to spread. Meanwhile, Dr. Lorentz and his daughter Lorna discover a cause of death unknown to their remote African outpost - a lethal injection of an abnormal amount of venom. The pieces of this mystery start to connect when Brady stumbles upon a news report about the chaos in Central Africa, leading him to a chilling hypothesis: the lost wasps, exposed to a potent cocktail of cosmic radiation, have mutated into enormous, deadly monsters. Leaving behind their Washington lab, Brady and Morgan embark on an arduous expedition to Africa to confirm their fears. Battling brush fires, fever, drought, and storms, they reach Lorentz' outpost only to learn of the doctor's tragic death at the hand of the monster. The proof? A gargantuan stinger, the lethal weapon of a wasp the size of a building. Undeterred by the desertion of their native guides, Brady, Morgan, Lorna, and their brave companions, Mahri and Arobi, venture into the heart of Green Hell. Their mission is clear: destroy the queen and her colony, for, left unchecked, the irradiated insects could overrun all of Africa. Armed with grenade-like bombs, they face the monstrous insects, finding themselves in a dangerous dance between life and death. As they near the base of an ominously rumbling volcano, they come face-to-face with the queen and her deadly spawn. Despite their best efforts, their explosives only serve to provoke the monstrous wasps. In a race against time, they hide in a cave, narrowly escaping the wrath of the enraged insects. Emerging just as the volcano erupts, they witness a sight of awe and relief: a sea of lava engulfing the wasps in a fiery demise. It appears nature has its way of purging its own aberrations, as Morgan wryly comments. 'Monster from Green Hell' is a thrilling journey of scientific miscalculations and their terrifying consequences, humanity's struggle for survival, and the ultimate triumph of nature's self-correcting mechanisms.
