Missing in America (2005)

In the heart of the Pacific Northwest's dense forests, Jake Neeley, a battle-scarred Vietnam lieutenant portrayed by Danny Glover, leads a solitary existence in a secluded cabin. Dealing with haunting remnants of the war, Jake's only connection with the outside world is through Kate, the owner of a nearby small store who regularly provides his necessities. His life is intertwined with those of other lonely veterans who seek refuge in the forest, sharing supplies and companionship in their shared solitude. However, Jake's self-imposed exile is disrupted when he receives an unexpected visit from Henry R. Hocknell, a former private from his platoon.
