Plot

In the shadowy corners of 19th-century Holland, a tale of obsession, art, and eerie experiments unfolds. Hans, a curious writer, ventures into a secluded town near Amsterdam, lured by the mystery of Professor Val, an enigmatic sculptor living in isolation. His home, an ancient mill house, carries a chilling moniker among the locals: the Mill of the Stone Women. Embroiled in this enigma is the professor's alluring daughter, whose beauty ensnares Hans, pulling him away from his true love, Lisa Lotta. As he finds himself entrapped in the labyrinth of desire and deception, Hans gradually uncovers the unsettling truth of the old mill house. Under the cloak of fine art, Professor Val and his secretive assistant, Dr. Boles, conduct clandestine operations. The professor's ailing daughter is the recipient of illicit blood transfusions, sourced from kidnapped local women who mysteriously vanish, only to reappear posthumously as macabre masterpieces of stone. As Hans delves deeper into this morbid world, he becomes entangled in a web of dark arts and sinister sciences, where the line between life and art blurs. The Mill of the Stone Women is not just a house, but a chilling testament to desperation, forbidden love, and the horrifying lengths one might go to preserve beauty.
