In a far-flung future, the paradox of war and tranquility coexist in the uncanny haven known as Jesus Town, previously known as Jerusalem. This idyllic yet artificial paradise is under the iron rule of the eerily charming seraphim, Girjev, and his mechanical right hand, Mikhail, who yearn for an absolute peace. Hidden from the world and entombed in time, an enigmatic android known as Hakaider has been lying dormant, his memory fragmented and purpose forgotten. His slumber is abruptly disturbed when he becomes embroiled in a clash with the unruly bikers of Jesus Town. Rescued by Kaoru and her rebellious cohorts, he unexpectedly spirals into a frenzy, unleashing his dormant ferocity on the rebels, only to witness their massacre by Girjev's relentless battalion, leaving Kaoru as the sole survivor. As fragments of his past return, aided by the resilient Kaoru, a bond begins to form between them. Re-awakened and fueled by a newfound purpose, Hakaider pledges to dismantle Girjev's reign and liberate Jesus Town, igniting a battle between the forces of tyranny and the spark of rebellion.
