Plot

In the not-so-distant future of 1999, Earth has become a colossal prison for giant monsters, including the likes of Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, and many more fearsome creatures. These titanic beasts are confined to an island near Japan, aptly named Monster Land. However, the tranquility is shattered when a nefarious race of aliens known as the Kilaaks, hailing from a remote planet nestled in the asteroid belt, orchestrate a daring jailbreak. Unleashing the monsters from their island prison, the Kilaaks command these behemoths to wreak havoc on the world's major cities. From the throbbing heart of Tokyo to the iconic skyline of New York, no metropolis is safe from the thunderous rampage. Earth's only hope lies in the audacious crew of the advanced rocket ship X-2, tasked with an impossible mission – infiltrate the aliens' moonbase and seize control of the monstrous army. The stakes are elevated to an unprecedented scale as the crew fights against time, not only tackling the monstrous menace ravaging Earth but also preparing for an impending showdown with the space dragon King Ghidrah. This thrilling odyssey is a cataclysmic clash between terrestrial and extraterrestrial forces, a battle for the survival of the planet with the future of humanity hanging in the balance.
