In the wake of her mother's passing, Tess Silverman embarks on a journey into her past, returning to Drover's Run, the sprawling cattle farm in South Australia that echoes with the laughter and tears of her early childhood. It's here where she seeks to reconnect with her estranged family - her father Jack and sister Claire - the ties of which have been worn thin by a twenty-year absence instigated by her mother's departure from Jack's life and subsequent move to the city.
