Plot

In the heart of America, a former English boxing champion, Billy Baker, lands with a unique kangaroo, Matilda, with a knack for boxing. Despite his masculine strength, Matilda carries a feminine name, adding an element of intrigue to his character. Billy, needing to keep the lights on, partners with a small-time talent agent, turning Matilda's impressive skill into a captivating carnival spectacle. The plot thickens when Lee Dockerty, the reigning world heavyweight boxing champion, steps into the carnival ring to impress his lady love, only to be sent flying into the next week by Matilda's powerful punch. This unexpected victory thrusts Billy and Matilda into the limelight, with Matilda now stealing the show at major boxing events, and even daring to contend Dockerty for his much-coveted championship title. However, their sudden fame doesn't go unnoticed. A powerful mob boss, with a greedy eye on Matilda and his surging fortune, and a determined activist, outraged by the perceived cruelty towards animals, join the fray. With Dockerty gearing up to protect his title in the ring, Billy, Bernie, and Matilda must use their combined wits, wisdom, and unparalleled boxing prowess to navigate the high-stakes world of fame, fortune, and the fight for survival.
