In the heart of the bustling city of Chicago, renowned author and relationship sage, Charlotte Meyers, revels in the launch of her latest book. With tales of love rediscovered and mended hearts, her book with fiancé Doug is set to catapult her career to new heights, even promising a coveted network talk show. However, her world crumbles when Doug, on the day of the book's launch, decides to exit their relationship. Her brand, once unshakeable, is now tarnished, leading her publisher Jane to back out of any future relationship-oriented projects. Undeterred, Charlotte decides to reinvent herself, presenting a novel idea to Jane: a city girl's guide to wilderness survival.
