Love on the Air (2015)

In the bustling world of radio, Sonia Mayerick and Nick Linden host rival talk shows that cover two conflicting perspectives on relationships. Sonia, a determined feminist, fervently argues against women losing their identities for men, while Nick, a staunch "man cave" guy, avers that men shouldn't subjugate themselves in relationships and marriage. In truth, Nick is a lonely soul, his views molded by experiences known only to those closest to him. Sonia, although successful, yearns to break into the larger Chicago market from her smaller local station in Evanston. Nick, enjoying the fame in Chicago's WCV, wants to escape from the solitude of his nighttime show to the vibrancy of the morning slot. Their professional desires intertwine when Sonia lands a temporary gig at WCV after a heartbreaking split with her sports agent fiancé, Scott Ryder. The fissure in her relationship is borne out of a quote unknowingly taken from Nick's show. This twist of fate leads Sonia to impulsively intrude on Nick's show, sparking an on-air feud that captivates the listeners.
