Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega (2001)

In the bustling city of Mumbai, we find Prakash (Saif Ali Khan), a charismatic gold digger who considers himself the luckiest man alive after marrying the only daughter of the wealthy Mr. Chopra (Dalip Tahil), the enchanting Sapna (Sonali Bendre). However, Prakash's dream of an opulent life is shattered when he realizes his father-in-law's disdain for him is an insurmountable wall, blocking his path to wealth and prosperity. Undeterred, Prakash seeks Mr. Chopra's financial help to start his own venture, only to be met with a stern refusal. Meanwhile, Rahul Kapoor (Fardeen Khan) and Harilal "Harry" (Aftab Shivdasani), two penniless roommates living a hand-to-mouth existence in a rented apartment, are neck-deep in unpaid rent. Caught in the web of unrequited love, Rahul is hopelessly in love with his landlord's daughter, the vibrant Anjali (Twinkle Khanna). Despite her reciprocated affection, their blossoming romance is threatened by her father's vehement disapproval of Rahul's poverty-stricken life. In a surprising twist of fate, Prakash crosses paths with the cash-strapped duo, Rahul and Harry. A daring plan is hatched to kidnap Sapna and extort a hefty ransom from the unyielding Mr. Chopra. The seemingly foolproof plot promises a win-win for the unlikely trio - a chance for Prakash to fund his dream project and for Rahul to win over Anjali's father. However, the best-laid plans often go awry. The plot thickens when they discover that Sapna has fallen prey to a ruthless gang of professional kidnappers, who wouldn't hesitate to harm her once they have the money. To make matters worse, they learn that the crafty Mr. Chopra has secretly alerted the police. What follows is a rollercoaster of high stakes, unexpected twists, and a desperate quest to outwit both the law and the lawless, while the clock ticks down on Sapna's fate.
