Plot

In the throbbing heart of San Francisco, Molly Dawson, an ambitious real estate agent, plans to surprise her vintner boyfriend, Jackson West, on his birthday - Valentine's Day. She arrives, heart brimming with love and news of a job offer in New Mexico, only to have her world shattered by the unwelcome appearance of Jackson's ex, Vanessa, bearing a DNA test and a baby. This shocking revelation, a snapshot of Jackson's past, sends Molly fleeing to New Mexico, leaving behind a bewildered Jackson, a diamond pendant, and an innocent puppy. A year later, Molly has built a new life under the tutelage of real estate maven, Nancy Spencer, and the affections of her stock broker boyfriend, Greg. Despite the word 'love' being exchanged, Molly realizes that her feelings for Greg are a mere shadow of what she once felt for Jackson. Greg's overbearing affection seems more a testament to his idle lifestyle than genuine love, while his best friend, "The Rickster," indulges in juvenile antics that further drive Molly away. A twist of fate brings Jackson back into Molly's life when eccentric billionaire Randall Slade seeks to invest in Broken Heart Winery, a rising star in the wine world and now managed by Jackson. Despite the lingering hurt, Molly is unable to deny the embers of love still glowing for Jackson. Meanwhile, Jackson, harbouring secrets about his life and still nursing his love for Molly, sees this business deal as an opportunity to mend their broken romance. Adding to the drama, Molly finds solace in a heartrending blog, "Wine, Women and Song," penned by a lovelorn Frenchman, Jean-Luc Pierre. Jackson's enthusiastic right-hand man, Tomero, self-named "Romeo," concocts extravagant plans to help Jackson win back Molly's heart. Amidst the swirling complexities of Jackson's undisclosed truths, Greg's issue, the fate of the winery deal, and the influence of Jean-Luc's blog, Molly and Jackson find themselves caught in a whirlwind of love, betrayal, and second chances.
