In the throbbing heart of San Francisco, Molly Dawson, an ambitious real estate agent, plans to surprise her vintner boyfriend, Jackson West, on his birthday - Valentine's Day. She arrives, heart brimming with love and news of a job offer in New Mexico, only to have her world shattered by the unwelcome appearance of Jackson's ex, Vanessa, bearing a DNA test and a baby.
