Love Bite (2012)

In the languid seaside hamlet of Rainmouth, the monotony of summer has just begun as school doors close. Jamie's companions revel in their daily routine, laboring at the local pie factory by daylight and chasing carnal desires under the night's cloak. However, Jamie finds himself adrift in ennui, managing his mother's quaint Bed & Breakfast, her mind perennially clouded by cannabis. He yearns for an escape, a taste of the vast world beyond his tiny town. A glimmer of hope arrives in the form of the charmingly intelligent and irresistibly attractive American adventurer, Juliana. A chance encounter at a party ignites a spark in Jamie, a tantalizing reminder that the world is indeed much grander than Rainmouth. Yet Juliana's arrival seems to usher in an eerie tide of events. Local teens begin to mysteriously vanish, swallowed by the night during vibrant parties. A cryptic stranger paints a frightening picture - a werewolf prowling the streets of Rainmouth, feasting exclusively on the innocence of virgins. The only safeguard against this nocturnal terror is the shedding of one's purity, or so the stranger claims. As the town's young inhabitants are plucked away one by one, the boys are gripped by a chilling realization - despite their braggadocio, they are all untouched by love's intimate dance. The desire to survive quickly becomes an urgent race to experience their first carnal encounter - a desperate bid to escape the jaws of the lurking monster. Could losing their virginity indeed be their only salvation? In Rainmouth, the quest to get laid has never been so deadly.
