Locked In (2017)

An unforgiving storm of fate converges upon a rural farmhouse, where a young woman is burdened with the responsibility of tending to her agoraphobic mother and their family's dwindling farm, following a devastating accident involving her father. Their solitude is disrupted by the arrival of a stranger, seeking refuge from a tempest that rages outside, mirroring the storm of his past. He is a convict, a hardened thief, carrying the weight of his past actions that resulted in the loss of his family. During his prison sentence, he crosses paths with another convict whose tale of a colossal heist, ending in both a treasure and imprisonment, ignites a spark of hope in his desolate life. The loot, a ticket to redemption, is hidden, tucked away in this very farmhouse he now seeks shelter in. He conceals his true identity, weaving a web of deception, gradually gaining the trust of the unsuspecting mother and daughter.
