Plot

In the 2019 film 'Little Monsters,' we are introduced to David, a rough-around-the-edges character plagued by misfortune and an acid tongue. Attempting to get his life back on track after a crushing breakup, David finds solace in his young nephew Felix, embedding himself as a chaperone on the boy's kindergarten field trip. His motives aren't entirely pure, however, as the enchanting Miss Caroline, Felix's teacher, has caught his eye. With the backdrop of an ordinary field trip, the veneer of normality is soon shattered when an adjoining Army Base inadvertently unleashes a torrent of ravenous zombies. The once serene outing is quickly transformed into a macabre fight for survival, as Miss Caroline's class becomes the last bastion of hope, awaiting the Army's reinforcements. As if the undead onslaught wasn't enough, the group must also contend with the insufferable Mr. Teddy McGiggles, a children's TV clown whose vices include alcohol and sex, adding another layer of chaos to the horrifying ordeal. Illuminated by the standout performance of Lupita Nyong'o as Miss Caroline, 'Little Monsters' masterfully intertwines elements of comedy and gore, crafting an unforgettable tale of resilience, love, and the unlikeliest of heroes in the face of a zombie apocalypse. This film is sure to delight those with a penchant for a unique blend of horror and humor.
