Plot

In the chilling thriller "Like Minds," a seasoned forensic psychiatrist, Sally Rowe, is summoned by Detective Martin Mackenzie to delve into the enigmatic profile of a young suspect, Alex Forbes. Found cradling the dead body of his schoolmate, Nigel Colby, in a desolate train station and with an unidentifiable powder in his hand, Alex's innocent youth stands in stark contrast to the severity of the crime he's accused of; a jarring paradox that leaves Rowe and Mackenzie on edge. As Sally probes deeper into the intricate labyrinth of Alex's mind, he unravels his peculiar bond with Nigel, a bond steeped in the mysticism of their alleged lineage from the Templar Knights. Nigel's psychological hold over Alex, a manipulation as formidable as it is elusive, remains undeterred even in death. While Mackenzie is focused on pinning the murder on Alex, Sally, under the heavy influence of Alex's powerful father, embarks on a secondary investigation. This path leads her into the shadowy corners of Nigel's lineage, revealing an ancient secret society to which the entire Colby family belongs. "Like Minds" is a volatile mix of ancient lore, unfathomable secrets, and the power of the human mind. As the evidence is as elusive as the truth, Sally must navigate the murky waters of this investigation, where every revelation could either exonerate Alex or seal his fate. The question remains: Is Alex a victim of Nigel's psychological tyranny, or is he a cold-blooded killer?
