In the humdrum existence of domesticity, Kitty, a once dowdy housewife, finds herself devoted to her narcissistic husband, Bob. Her world shatters when Bob's mistress brazenly intrudes on their sanctuary, prompting a painful yet necessary divorce. Bob's disillusionment with Kitty's mundane aura, their children, and his own life had driven him into the arms of another woman. Emerging from the ashes of her former life, Kitty undergoes a startling transformation. No longer the dull housewife, she blossoms into an enchanting figure in Continental society, her vivacious personality and fashionable allure captivating all around her. Three years after the bitter divorce, Bob finds himself in the grand residence of a wealthy matron, charming her soon-to-be-wed granddaughter. Yet, fate has a delightful twist in store when the matron, with cunning intent, invites Kitty to a lavish weekend soiree, hoping to distract Bob from her precious granddaughter. As Kitty and Bob cross paths again, they skillfully conceal their shared history. The party unfolds in a whirl of intrigue as Bob finds himself torn between the allure of his transformed ex-wife and the charms of the unsuspecting bride-to-be.
