In the golden age of ancient Egypt, Pharaoh Khufu, portrayed by Jack Hawkins, sits atop a mountain of wealth, obtained through years of relentless warfare. This fixation prompts him to enlist the expertise of a recently enslaved master architect, Vashtar, played by James Robertson Justice. She aims to rob Khufu of his treasured afterlife journey, preventing him from taking his wealth into the beyond. Simultaneously, she conspires to expedite his passage into that very afterlife.
