Lake Placid 3 (2010)

In the tranquil setting of Black Lake, Maine, a sinister undercurrent lurks beneath the serene surface. Following the horrific events of Lake Placid 2, where the fearsome matriarch of the lake, Sadie Bickerman, met a violent end, an eerie calm has settled. The locals breathe a sigh of relief, convinced that the monstrous crocodiles that once terrorized their waters are no more. However, in the shadow of their oblivion, a dangerous secret stirs. Game warden Nathan, his wife Susan, and their mischievous young son Connor, move to Lake Placid, seemingly a peaceful sanctuary. Unbeknownst to them, the deadly legacy of the lake is far from over. Connor, in his youthful curiosity, stumbles upon a brood of baby crocodiles. Charmed by their seemingly harmless demeanor, he begins to feed them, unknowingly nurturing a new generation of bloodthirsty beasts. Two years later, the ripple effect of Connor's innocent act becomes a tidal wave of terror. The baby crocodiles, now grown into formidable predators, reignite the nightmare of Lake Placid. Their insatiable hunger disrupts the tranquility of Black Lake, turning the once peaceful waters into a dread-filled battleground. As the crocodiles claim victim after victim, the waters of Black Lake run red once more. As the local game warden, the responsibility falls on Nathan to end this reign of terror. With his family and town at risk, he must confront the monstrous creatures that his son inadvertently nurtured. Will he succeed in restoring peace, or will the nightmare of Lake Placid continue to haunt Black Lake? The answer lies beneath the deceptive calm of the water, where danger lurks with every ripple.
