In the wake of the catastrophic events at Lake Victory, the waters run still, haunted by the memory of a savage invasion by prehistoric, flesh-devouring piranhas. Not far off, in the heart of Merkin County lies Cross Lake, where the ambitious and ruthless Chet unveils his latest venture, The Big Wet Water Park, much to the chagrin of his stepdaughter, Maddy. The waters of Cross Lake churn with untold horrors when Maddy's friends, Travis and Ashley, mysteriously disappear, their van found submerged. Maddy, alongside her friend Shelby, mourns their loss, their grief soon shattered by an unexpected aquatic onslaught. It seems the piranhas have a taste for more than just victory. Determined to uncover the truth, Maddy seeks the expertise of piranha specialist Mr. Carl Goodman. Accompanied by her former classmate Barry, now an employee at The Big Wet, and her ex-flame, Deputy Kyle, they unearth the chilling reality - the lake is infested with piranhas. Despite the looming menace, Chet adamantly refuses to shutter his water park. His customers, seeking wet and wild fun, remain blissfully unaware of the bloodthirsty predators lurking beneath the surface. The revelry soon turns into a fight for survival as the piranhas launch their merciless attack. At the eye of the storm is the resolute Maddy, flanked by Barry and Kyle. They plunge headfirst into the fray, pitting their courage and mettle against the frenzied swarm of aquatic killers. With every fiber of their being, they wage a desperate battle against the relentless piranhas. The question remains - can they turn the tide and halt the onslaught of these ancient monsters?
