Plot

In the heart of a bustling American metropolis, the ominous specters of violence and death haunt the Chinese community. Amidst this strife, one man, the indomitable Dr. Chang Ling, and his intrepid daughter, Dr. Mary Ling, stand against the tide, defying the ruthless racketeers holding their community hostage. Despite the daunting odds, they strive to restore tranquility to their beleaguered neighbors. When the formidable gangland overlord, Frank Baturin, is mysteriously shot, it is the skilled hands of Dr. Mary Ling that save him from the clutches of death. Driven by her unwavering duty as a doctor, she operates on Baturin, even under the haunting suspicion that her father might be the assailant, following a heated dispute with the gangster. Surviving the brush with death, Baturin embarks on a vengeful hunt against the man who dared to challenge his reign, unaware that the actual threat lurks closer than he could imagine, eager to seize control of the Chinatown rackets. As this intricate web of deception and treachery unfurls, the courageous father-daughter duo must navigate through a perilous path to bring peace to their oppressed community.
