In the bustling, vibrant heart of New York City's Eastside, Muggs McGinnis, the burly boxing champion, is primed for a thrilling match against the Westside titan. However, a hasty pool game blunder involving Harry Wycoff, a notorious local thug, leads to an unexpected twist. Determined for revenge, Wycoff orchestrates a cunning plan to kidnap Muggs before the match, betting on his opponent against Muggs' unanticipated substitute.
