Plot

In the whirlwind of high school life, unassuming sophomore Michael Peck, a delicate 104-pound intellectual, finds himself lost in the crowd. When his dreams of joining the wrestling team are crushed by his scholarly parents, they instead force him into a legally binding contract to join the Science Club. His life takes an unexpected turn when he skips school with his best friend Geiger, leading him to cross paths with two senior girls, Emily and Becca. Peck finds himself drawn to Emily, an outgoing senior who sees beyond his nerdy exterior. Despite their vastly different levels of worldly wisdom, a fragile relationship blossoms. As he navigates this new relationship and the pressures of school, Peck is involuntarily thrust into the creation of a science fair project. Unbeknownst to him, this forced-upon endeavor will prove to be far more influential than he could ever imagine. With the looming science fair threatening to push him back into obscurity, and his newfound popularity with Emily on the line, Peck hatches a plan. He decides to create a project that not only stuns the school but also teaches his overbearing parents a valuable lesson. His project, born out of his interactions with Emily and his classroom experiences, shakes the apathetic school system to its very core. In "Just Peck," Michael Peck embarks on a journey to find his voice in the chaos. The unnoticed becomes unforgettable as he transforms from an invisible sophomore to a living legend, challenging norms and capturing hearts along the way.
