Renowned dancer Mangal Maharaj dreams of his prodigious son, Girdhar, seizing the coveted crown of Bharat Natraj at the Nateshwar Utsav, a prestigious dance competition held every decade. Although Girdhar is a master of solo performances, the competition demands a female partner for the mesmerizing Shiv-Parvati Tandav dance.
Maharaj's initial choice, Roopkala, disappoints him, sparking a frantic search for a suitable partner. Fate intervenes as he stumbles upon the gifted Neeladevi, a dancer and singer of extraordinary talent. He rigorously trains Neeladevi, molding her into a worthy partner for Girdhar, and finds himself pleased with her progress.
However, Maharaj's dreams shatter when he discovers Girdhar and Neeladevi entwined in a passionate romance, a distraction that hampers their performance. Annoyed with Neeladevi, he dismisses her and embarks on a desperate quest to find another partner for his son. The clock is ticking, and the question lingers: can Maharaj discover another dancer, train her to perfection, and prepare her for the grand Utsav in time, or will he forfeit his ambition and await the next decade's competition?
