Plot

In a riveting blend of mystery and adventure, Joe Branch, portrayed by Brett King, gallops into the heart of Coffeyville, Kansas. Rumored to be the offspring of the infamous outlaw, Jesse James, he's on a relentless quest for truth about his lineage. His path intertwines with the fiery Kate Manning, played by Barbara Lawrence, whom he saves from the town's wrath after she takes a life to safeguard her dignity. This encounter is not merely serendipitous, as Kate's father was a former accomplice of Jesse James, providing a crucial turning point in Joe's journey. In his relentless pursuit for answers, Joe hatches a daring plan to intersect with the notorious Daltons. His strategy involves the audacious act of robbing a train carrying an Army payroll, a tempting target that he knows the Daltons had their eyes on. His cunning move to beat the Daltons to the loot, however, doesn't account for the inevitable storm of wrath he's about to summon. The film's title, "Jesse James vs. the Daltons," is a tantalizing riddle in itself, as the legendary outlaw Jesse James never graces the screen and the connection between Joe and Jesse ultimately proves to be a red herring. This gripping tale of intrigue, danger, and identity is a riveting journey into the heart of the Wild West, where truth is elusive and survival is a gamble.
