Jealous (2010)

In a desperate bid to mend their fracturing relationship, Thomas and Marianne retreat to a tranquil lakeside cottage owned by Thomas’ uncle, their bond worn thin by Marianne's whimsical flirtations and Thomas' corrosive jealousy. As they settle into this quiet sanctuary, they are greeted by a charismatic yet enigmatic neighbor who, upon learning of their solitude, insists they join him for an evening meal he has readied. As the night matures, fueled by alcohol and the neighbor's beguiling charm relentlessly cast upon Marianne, the couple find themselves descending into a vortex of mixed emotions and unfolding events. Their faithfulness, remorse, and a haunting shared secret are thrust into the limelight, threatening to shatter their already teetering relationship. Amid this disarray, the couple must strive to endure, in a weekend where the neighbor’s true identity and intentions could be far from innocent. The intimacy of the cottage amplifies their turmoil, and their struggle to survive becomes a test of their love and resilience.
