Jaguar (1996)

In the heart of Paris, an intriguing encounter unfolds within the confines of a hotel elevator. A South American shaman, in town for a public relations crusade, crosses paths with Perrin, a charismatic French nonconformist. The shaman, captivated by Perrin's idiosyncratic charm, follows him home, despite Perrin's lukewarm reaction to his newfound admirer. Allowing the shaman to spend the night in his apartment, Perrin remains somewhat aloof, his interest piqued but not fully engaged. As the shaman navigates the rigors of the ensuing PR campaign, a shocking twist of events unravels. He suffers a heart attack, finding himself confined to a hospital bed, his speech failing him. In his dire state, the shaman expresses a fervent desire to see Perrin once more, much to the latter's indifference. However, animosity seems trivial as their connection transcends the ordinary. Born in an elevator and nurtured within the walls of Perrin's apartment, a profound mental bond seems to have tethered the unlikely duo since their first meeting, forever altering the trajectory of their lives.
