After the stunning defeat of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, one of her top campaign consultants tries to get his now devastated career back on track by winning a mayoral election in a small Wisconsin town. Gary Zimmer is determined to field a Democrat to defeat a Republican mayor in a conservative Midwest town. Zimmer finds the perfect candidate, retired Marine Col. Jack Hastings. He will take on incumbent Republican Brent Sexton. Electing a Democrat in a super conservative town is tough enough, but Zimmer is about to encounter problems he never knew existed in Small Town, Anywhere, USA.
