Mother (2009)

A mother spends her entire life caring for her mentally disabled adult son and providing acupuncture and herbs to people in the neighborhood, but she finds her life flipped upside down when her son is accused of the murder of a local girl. Despite the connection of the boy to the murder being tenuous, systemic incompetence and indifference leads to him quickly being locked up for the crime. The mother knows that the only way her son will ever go free is if she proves his innocence, so she sets out on the ugly task of tracking down the real killer.
