In the heart of India, where cricket is more than just a game—it's a national obsession—lives the Khan family. At the family's helm is Anwar Khan, a hardworking farmer who views cricket as a colossal waste of time and resources, a stance that starkly contrasts with his family's. His wife, Saida, is a fervent cricket enthusiast, her love for the sport so profound that she went into labor while watching a match. Thus, Iqbal was born, soon followed by his sister, Khadija. Iqbal, despite his deafness and muteness, inherits his mother's and sister's passion for cricket. He spends his days tending to buffaloes, all females yet comically named after renowned male cricketers.
