In the chaotic underbelly of the public health system lies St. Albert's Teaching Hospital, notorious for being the least esteemed and managed by the unscrupulous Dr. Cyrill Kipp. This tumultuous setting becomes the training ground for an eclectic group of interns. Among them is Mike Bonnert, a bumbling misfit coerced into medicine by his distinguished doctor parents, and Dale Dodd, a playboy in pursuit of feminine company, who unexpectedly falls for the charming nurse, Cynthia Skyes. Adding to the entertaining chaos, is prankster Marlon Thomas, who sees the hospital as his personal playground. Mira Towers, a woman with a laser-focused ambition to rise as a celebrated surgeon, and Christine Lee, a diligent student with a promising future in medicine, provide the more serious counterparts. And not to be forgotten is Mitzi Cole, a stripper-turned-intern, juggling her unconventional occupation to finance her education, who finds a romantic interest in Mike. Guided by the steadfast Sarah Calder, the motley crew embarks on a year of medical education, navigating through a labyrinth of confusion and chaos in their quest to transform into competent doctors.
